School Complex at Munich Trade Fair City

Munich-Riem

2002

The design of two vocational schools focuses on the characteristics of the location - the polarity of town and country. A rectangular, the contours of the construction field following, structure is inscribed a smooth interior that opens onto the landscape. Out of this contrast spatial and social qualities emerge. All classes are oriented to the amorphous courtyard in the spirit of a strong community.
